• Physicality
  Quintez Cephus is a physical specimen.  Not only does he have a strong and stalky frame, he plays to every bit of it.  Whether its blocking or punishing defenders with the football, Cephus brings the bang.

• Contested Catches/Hands
  Cephus attacks the ball just about as well as anyone in the draft. He has good hands and rarely drops the ball.  He is composed under pressure and absorbs contact through the catch.

• Release
  Cephus is explosive off the line of scrimmage with powerful and purposeful steps.  Rarely shown bump-and-run coverage, Cephus used his strong arms well against press.  He has good burst off the snap and accelerates well.

• Explosiveness/Strength
  This will be Cephus calling card in the NFL.  First among receivers in the bench press, and eighth in the vertical and broad jump, Cephus is a powerful athlete.  While he won’t win overtop, he gives an offense a good variety of burst and strength between the sticks

• Separation
  Cephus ran the slowest 40-yard dash time at the combine. This only proves his lack of speed shown on film. Cephus relies on his release and body control to create space. When Cephus won vertically downfield, it was a testament to his contested catch ability or a lapse in coverage.

Quintez Cephus is a hard-nosed receiver that can be used in a variety of ways.  He will show his skills under safeties and along the sidelines.  He also projects to be a useful special teams player with his play style.
